Canadian Sport Business Academy

Canadian Sport Business Academy (CSBA), established in 1996 under the government of British Columbia, is a school dedicated to educating students in the field of sport and business. Courses include a wide range of sports, English, team building and business fundamentals.  These courses are provided by teachers, instructors and advisory staff who are dedicated to the educational principles of developing the knowledge of sports business.

We believe that in today's society, the acquisition of language is extremely beneficial.  We also feel that developing a student's creativity and understanding of the world on a global level through experience is paramount. In our academy, the educational goal is to have our students become a creative person with a global vision through training in sport along with respecting individual characters and personalities.  All this takes place in the majestic surroundings of Whistler.

For technical training in sports, as with most instruction, it is essential to maintain a high level of interest for students. CSBA ensures a variety of learning environments (both indoors and out) to maintain a keen sense of motivation.  Moreover, we conduct lessons in Standard First Aid, team building, and offer several hiking and overnight trips to make the experience true to life.

Each person has potential and CSBA strives to bring out and utilize the strengths of all students. The program encourages students to work through obstacles, pursue their goals and to improve their knowledge and know-how.  All components contribute to furthering one's career, not only in the world of sports, but in any field of business or profession.

Through our comprehensive educational program, we wish to assist our students as an instructor and as a fellow companion- working and advancing together to realize the same dream and vision. It is our profound desire that, regardless of the clarity of one's goal, each student will be able to better their human character and acquire a direction in life through their experience in sport.
