Whistler mountain

Whistler is a friendly ski town located in the spectacular Coast Mountains less than two hours from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is home to almost 10,000 residents. One of the many things that make Whistler so special is two unbelievable mountains - Whistler and Blackcomb. Over 8,100 skiable acres,more than 200 trails, rising a mile above the valley of Whistler. Three glaciers. 38 lifts. Twelve alpine bowls, offer unforgettable skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and unlimited winter and summer activities.

There is an efficient local bus network, servicing the entire area of Whistler and its environs and a free shuttle bus service that runs all day around some of the main parts in town.

Whistler is Host Mountain Resort for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Whistler is known as one of the most beautiful places on Earth and ski magazines voted it the no.1 ski resort in North America and one of the best in the world.
