Since Whistler is the most renowned ski resort in Canada, the accommodation situation (prices and other conditions) is quite different compared to other areas. The below recommended accommodations have all cleared the CSBA criteria.

If you wish to find your own accommodation you will pay only the course fee, otherwise we can assist you and provide you one of the below options.

Long term contracts are made every 6 months, and 1- year students are able to change accommodations after 6 months if requested.

We recommend students to stop smoking before arriving in Canada as it is very difficult to find homestays that allow smokers. (Many homestays do not even allow students to smoke outside the house as they usually bring the smell inside.) In addition,  share houses are also “no smoking” inside.

1) Share House

All share houses are within 5 -15 minutes by bus from school. The house will be shared with Canadians and other students. There are different styles for share houses such as sharing a house with a few people, 2 people in one bedroom, single bedrooms. The properties are comfortable, spacious and individually decorated. All of the properties have spacious common areas; comfortable dining rooms, fireplaces, comfy sofas, televisions and telephones.

There are washing machines and dryers in each house and electricity, water and heating bills are covered in the rent price. Contracts vary depending on the properties.

2) Homestay

Students live with a Canadian family. Depending on the host families, houses and lifestyles may vary, but all homestays are located within 10-15 minutes by bus from school. There are limited numbers of host families in Whistler as it is a ski resort. This is the best way to improve English skills as well as to understand Canadian life style through communication with the family. It includes 3 meals a day and utilities. There are cases in which 2 to 3 students stay in one house, but only 1 student is placed per room.

Accommodation is offered as a part of our sport programs and can not be purchase separately. If you wish to find your own accommodation you will be asked to pay only program tuition fee.
